The Province of Manitoba records marriages, along with births and deaths, as part of their Vital Statistics Agency. They are responsible for administering and enforcing the "Vital Statistics Act," the "Marriage Act," "The Change of Name Act," and processing disinterments under the "Public Health Act." Certified copies of the original record are available for purchase for genealogical purposes through the Manitoba Vital Statistics Agency website (https://vitalstats.gov.mb.ca/Query.php). There is a fee for this service.
