Idaho, located along the Rocky Mountains in the northwestern United States, was admitted to the Union as the 43rd state in 1890. Although it is not one of the most populous states, the population grew by nearly 200,000 people between the twenty-six year period of 1911 and 1937. These death certificates begin as the state started collecting information about deaths in the state in 1911, and continue through the Great Depression.
