WATER CONSUMPTION.

The Inspector's report showed that during the past fortnight, 638,000 gallons of water had been used for manufacturing purposes, and 840,000 for domestic purposes, making the total consumed at 1, 478, 000 gallons, which was considered highly satisfastory.
