On Wednesday a woman, known as Mrs. Cooke, residing at No. 10, Park Road, Barnsbury Road, Islington, was murdered by a man at present unknown, who afterwards committed suicide. The woman, who was recognised by some as Miss Phillips, was of the class termned "unfortu- nate." She
