More making effort to get into public school

Many more St. Bede's School pupils were taking Common Entrance examinations in an effort to get to a public school, said headmaster Mr. C. Stafford Northcote on Sunday. He was speaking at St. Bede's annual prize - giving at which the Earl and Countess of Lichfield were present.
