The Force-Vorce Card Collection was possibly compiled by noted New York genealogist Woyden W. Vosburgh. The collection includes names, event dates, generation numbers, and reference numbers, which are likely call numbers in unidentified reference libraries. The surname, if otherwise not listed, may be presumed to be Vorce or Force.
Three sets of collections are available to search:
Force-Vorce Index to Husbands of Vorce Daughters
Vorce Index to Wives (Maiden Name Index), also known as the 'Force-Vorce Marriage Index'
Individual cards can contain the following information:
• Birth (date and place, if known)
• Marriage(s) (spouse name, date, and place, if known)
• Death (date and place, if known)
• Whether they had children
• Parents if know
• Reference numbers (unidentified sources)
Use the browse arrows on the left and right of the image to view more information. In some cases, the details about a person might be available on more than one card, by using the right arrow you can browse to the next card.
