Each entry recorded the couples’ names, the date of the marriage, and the place of marriage.
The records are presented in a browse format, which means that the names are not indexed. The pages are ordered alphabetically by surname. To find your ancestor quickly, use the image counter at the bottom of the image page to skip forward to your ancestor’s surname.
The records were compiled by T P R Layng in 1980, using original registers and supplemented by bishops’ transcripts. The first couple of pages (image numbers 2 and 3) provide you with an explanation of abbreviations used in the text and a parish coverage list.
You can narrow your search by a surname’s first letter.
Use the previous and next arrows or the image counter in the image viewer to navigate through a selected collection.
