Chronicles of The Plumsted Family of Norfolk, published 1887 – tells the history of the Plumsted family as they left Norfolk and became one of the earliest English families to settle in Pennsylvania.
Staffordshire Pedigrees, published 1912 – The text was created from the original manuscript written by Gregory King, the Lancaster herald between 1680 and 1700. The manuscript was based on the visitation of Staffordshire made between 1663 and 1664 by William Dugdale, Norroy King of Arms. The publication reveals the family’s coat or arms and pedigree chart, including birth years, ages, and death years as well as showing relationships.
Tonge's Heraldic Visitations of The Northern Counties Of England, published 1863 – heraldic visitations were inspections conducted by the King of Arms in to regulate coats of arms and record pedigrees. This publication recorded the visitations Thomas Tonge, Norroy King of Arms. You will find full pedigrees and family trees of families of the northern counties.
Devon, Visitation Of The County Of Devon In 1620 - The original visitation of Devon was carried out in 1620 by Henry St George and Sampson Lennard. The manuscripts documented the pedigrees and family trees of the families of Devonshire. An original copy is preserved in the College of Arms and another in the British Museum. This publication was edited by Frederic Thomas Colby, B.D., F.S.A and published in 1872. A full list of the family surnames can be found beginning on image number 12.
