2Use these tips and tricks
Make sure the 'variants' check box is ticked on first and last names
Be less specific with place names, try searching for a town or county rather than a full address
Since the spellings of names may have changed, try using wildcards to search for variants. For example, searching for How* would show results with How, Howes and Hows
